Job Description

As an EC coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 4 clients per session every 30 minutes. This position requires a strong ability to manage your time effectively while motivating clients in a group setting. As an EC coach, you will be expected to make modifications as needed for the client based on injury/ailment or fitness level.

Position Requirements

  • Working knowledge of physiology, body mechanics and exercise instruction
  • Ability to multi-task regularly while staying organized, upbeat and energetic
  • Effectively using proper communication skills when instructing and motivating clients
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Must be able to facilitate and modify programs for clients of all fitness levels
  • Must hold a fitness certification from ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, NFPT or ISSA
  • Must be First Aid/CPR certified
  • 1+ year of experience in group fitness or personal training preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required

Position Responsibilities

  • Delivering pre-designed workouts to up to 4 people at a time in 30 minute increments
  • Energizing and motivating clients to keep pushing
  • Building attendance and retaining current clientele
  • Attending monthly staff meetings and educational presentations
  • Handle or escalate member concerns when necessary
  • Assist with new member consultations when needed

Pay Rate

  • Paid as a 1099 contractor with sales commissions and bonuses offered
